Associated Construction Publications (ACP), Reed Construction Data’s national network of construction magazines, recently sponsored the International Construction Challenge, an educational competition to give high school students a broader awareness on the importance of the construction industry, with an emphasis on construction careers, infrastructure, construction equipment, creative problem solving and teamwork.
The competition, hosted by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), in partnership with Destination ImagiNation, Inc., deemed the regional competitions a success and will be sending 13 teams to the Finals Tournament in Las Vegas on March 10-14, 2008 for CONEXPO-CON/AGG, a tradeshow showcasing new construction equipment and technology.
