Reed Construction Data Editor to be Inducted in Construction Writer’s Hall of Fame
(Norcross, GA)
Greg Sitek, editorial director of Associated Construction Publications (ACP), will become one of the first inductees into the Construction Writer Association’s (CWA) Hall of Fame, a new program launched in celebration of the group’s 50th anniversary. Greg will receive the prestigious award at the CWA annual meeting in May.
The CWA Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the construction industry and to the association. They are nominated by their peers and voted in by the CWA Executive Committee.
Sitek has been a part of the CWA for 40 years. He has also served as CWA president.
“Greg Sitek gave CWA the RPMs it needed as president in the early 80s,” said Bill Wilson, a fellow industry editor and co-chairperson of the association’s 50th Anniversary Committee. “He put the association on the successful track it continues to ride today, and continues to make significant and everlasting contributions to not only the association, but the industry as well.”
