On July 17-20, 2008, the AIAS (American Institute of Architecture Students) hosted the 24th annual Grassroots Leadership Conference in Washington, DC. The Grassroots conference provides leadership development to emerging leaders in the architectural student community.
As part of its ongoing support of AIAS, Reed Construction Data donated 50 copies of the popular RSMeans book, Universal Design Ideas for Style Comfort & Safety. These books were given out to the Freedom By Design program teams, who focus on resolving accessibility issues in construction.
“We really appreciate the support from Reed for this conference,” said JW Blanchard, president of AIAS. “The books were a great hit with the AIAS students and will serve as a valuable tool for their Freedom By Design community service projects.”
