Reed Construction Data, a national leader of construction project information, has a new focus and an ever-increasing list of things to talk about at this year’s AIA National Convention and Design Expo, May 15-17. As the Inaugural Strategic Partner of the AIA, Reed plans to unveil new building information modeling (BIM) solutions for architects and related communities.

On Friday, May 16, Reed will host an invitation-only panel on building information modeling (BIM) titled, “Maximize the Potential of BIM, Harness the Power of Data.” Speakers include Markku Allison, AIA Resource Architect; Kathleen Liston, BIM consultant and co-author of BIM Handbook; and Arol Wolford, industry consultant to Reed Construction Data and former CEO of Tectonic. The event will be led by Iain Melville, CEO of Reed Construction Data.
In addition to the in-booth demonstrations and activities throughout the show, Reed Construction Data is involved as a sponsor of an exclusive, day-long BIM session titled, “Change the World: Harnessing BIM Technology and Integrated Project Delivery for Sustainable Design.” The session boasts several high-profile speakers including Chuck Eastman, author of BIM Handbook and professor at Georgia Tech University.
