Shouldn't architects use Revit’s rendering engine instead of outsourcing renderings?

Question:
Revit’s rendering engine, mental ray and ability to add any jpg and png images to the render appearance library is awesome. Shouldn’t architects depend on this feature to efficiently present color montages of their project to their clients instead of outsourcing renderings and animations?
