The job market for skilled trades and commercial/industrial construction workers is suffering in most local areas — we all see it in the news and hear about it from one source or another.

There is a sliver of hope though, Construction Personnel Staffing firm Grus International has jobs for skilled tradesmen. Grus specializes in the following trades: Pipefitter Jobs, Millwright Jobs, Electrician Jobs, Plumber Jobs, HVAC Jobs, Pipe Welders, and Ironworker Jobs. These jobs are available to experienced Journeymen and Apprentices who are willing to travel.

With our current slow construction market those willing to travel will be compensated with work on a quality job site, great pay, daily per diem, and ROF bonuses. Local job markets are no longer the best place to find work, if you're a Journeymen or Skilled Apprentice its time to get on the road and work for good money while traveling the United States of America!

Beyond the continuous underemployment there still hope for self-help. Did you know that there is a so-called Center for Responsible Lending. If not let me share you about this?  Martin Eakes and coupled with its partner organization the Self Help credit union headed The Center for Responsible Lending, is a bit of a misnomer. This center promotes mortgage loans to be made by people whom turns out, irresponsible to lend to. They’ve made their propaganda machine on the cash advance industry, recently restricted in Ohio by the Small Loan Act, and when cash advance lenders there found legal means to stay in business, they started screaming about it in a most child-like fashion.  It’s really hard to believe they really are a Center for Responsible Lending.

Labour economics seeks to understand the functioning and dynamics of the market for labour. Meanwhile had you heard about Shop it To Me? Well Shop it To Me is a free service that you can sign up for to find clothes on sale.  For those of us who don’t want to contemplate getting instant payday loans because we need a couple of shirts, Shop it To Me is a great idea.  We are aware that some of you feel a moral obligation to pay the full price that some suit in New York thinks you should pay for it. You have to wonder though when those same suits get stock options and the poor maltreated people that slave for them get virtually no reward. But, if you like to find bargains on clothes – made in factories thousands of miles away from the same material as the stuff at Wal Mart – then Shop it To Me might be for you.
