Flexibility and Availability Wherever the Jobsite

Mobile offices, or jobsite trailers whichever you prefer to call them, have been a critical tool at construction sites for a long time. Today’s construction sites are not always an easily accessible vacant lot where you can drop a 40’ trailer for months on end, and mobile offices have adapted to meet today’s needs. As one of the largest providers of mobile office space in the United States, Pac-Van, Inc. has worked to adapt to our customers’ needs as well.

Pac-Van mobile offices come in sizes as small as 8x8’. A unit that small is easily maneuvered around the most congested jobsite – even Broadway in New York City can be home for one of these mobile offices. When the office is delivered to the jobsite, there are a number of options for a temporary foundation including cinder blocks, steel stands, or ground-level office units that simply roll off the back of a trailer to rest on the ground.

The inside of a Pac-Van mobile office can also be customized to meet virtually any need. Most units come standard with desk space, a plan table, and an HVAC unit for year-round use. Some units include private office areas and restroom facilities. For jobsites with running water and sewage available, a full ADA compliant restroom can be a more economical option than separate, portable toilet facilities. If Pac-Van does not have a unit that specifically meets our customer’s needs, our staff can customize one of our buildings for that job.

With the tough economic times, we have found that contractors who work with Pac-Van are expanding their range and taking jobs that are farther from their normal center of operations. In many cases, our expanded national footprint allows us to serve our customers’ space needs no matter where they are working. In some cases, this may also save the contractors money as the shorter the transit for delivery and pick up of your temporary space, the less the cost for that jobsite. Pac-Van now has 26 locations across the United States and offers service in 35 states.

Our expanded national footprint also enables Pac-Van to work with national companies to simplify the number of vendors required for their temporary space needs, which is not only beneficial for contractors, but for any national company with needs for temporary office space. For example, a broadcasting company that transmits live sporting events from venues all across the county might prefer to work with Pac-Van, because we service 90% of the locations from which they broadcast over the course of the year.

Mobile office space has evolved to meet the needs of today’s jobsites. By offering a range of sizes from 8x20’ up to 12x60’, customizing the interior to meet virtually any need, and expanded national availability, Pac-Van is also evolving to offer our customers the best quality jobsite and temporary office space solutions possible.
