Questions on BIM
I love the site! I have been seeing a lot of poorly done sites that have attempted to address the need for more B.I.M. communication, but all have fallen short. This site is top notch and I plan on visiting it often.
Thanks,

This from one of those smaller offices who has adopted BIM for commercial, light industrial, and retail work, primarily. Since 1997, our BIM tool has been ArchiCAD by Graphisoft. Revit by Autodesk is not synonymous with BIM - particularly from a global perspective. Autodesk is doing a great job of promoting BIM, and catching up with those who have been “there” for some time. If you have not committed to a BIM application yet, be aware that besides Revit, Graphisoft and Bentley are major providers of BIM modeling software worldwide. A number of other more specialized BIM applications are also available. Check it out for yourself before following the heard here in the US.
I had to Google BIM to know what it is. I’m assuming it is Building Information Modeling. It sounds cool. I am just now getting into commercial work so all of this stuff is new and confusing, but we are learning. We have be doing Atlanta House Painting and Painting Atlanta.
We are moving into Atlanta Solar and Atlanta Rainwater Harvesting and Atlanta Alternative Energy.
The series was officially greenlit and given a thirteen-episode order on May 15, 2007. The show was originally to be produced by NBC Universal Television. The show is about a Wisconsin teenager and the foreign exchange student his mother arranges to host, believing the visitor will help her socially awkward son become more popular, like Rosetta Stone. The student turn out to be a Muslim teenager from Pakistan.
