The building codes listed below apply as a mandatory minimum for all buildings except 1, 2, or 3 family dwellings, unless otherwise indicated.
Plans for all construction (except 1, 2, or 3 family dwellings) are reviewed at the state level except in the cities of Anchorage, Juneau, Fairbanks, Kenai, Seward, Kodiak, Sitka,and Soldotna.
