• Glendale has consolidated almost all land development permitting into the Building and Safety Section of the Public Works Division which houses representatives from building, fire, zoning, traffic and engineering.
• Glendale offers an express plan check service with completion in 7 to 10 days for an increased plan check fee. Call the Permit Services Center, (818) 548-3200, for information. Design Review is required for most external alterations, so allow time for the process to occur.
