• The code and contact information listed below applies to unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County and certain cities that contract with the L.A. County Dept. of Public Works to provide building services. Cities that contract with L.A. County are Artesia, Carson, Commerce, Duarte, Industry, Irwindale, La Canada Flintridge, La Puente, Lakewood, La Mirada, Lawndale, Lomita, Rolling Hills, Rilling Hills Estates, Santa Fe Springs, Temple City, and Westlake Village.
• Los Angeles County has a number of district offices where plans are submitted. Plan checkers at these offices can answer general building questions. Click here for a list of offices and phone numbers. For more specific, technical questions you may want to contact Central Office Plan Checkers at the numbers in the AHJ table below.
