Notes Concerning New Hampshire Building Codes

• New Hampshire's building codes are mandatory minimums for all buildings unless otherwise indicated.
Effective April 1, 2010, the NH State Building Code has been amended with the 2009 I-codes. The requirements for automatic sprinkler systems in one- and two-family dwellings and townhouses will NOT take effect until April 1, 2012 (check local ordinances).
