Notes Concerning Ohio Building Codes

• Ohio has adopted a statewide, mandatory code, the Ohio Building Code (OBC). The OBC applies to all buildings except: single-family, two-family and three-family dwellings; U.S. government and military structures; and agricultural buildings. The Ohio Adminstrative Code is found here.
