Pennsylvania has a statewide building code, the Uniform Construction Code (UCC), which will be administered and enforced locally and at the state level.
Note: Pennsylvania has adopted the 2009 I-Codes, effective December 31, 2009. If a design or construction contract for proposed work was signed between December 31, 2006 and December 30, 2009, the 2006 International Codes must be complied with.
