Project Description:

Military - Miscellaneous A new 149,300 GSF Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC), a 22,900 GSF Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) and a 5,000 GSF Operational Maintenance Shop (OMS) located on 31.6 acres of land. The 2 story building construction is to be structural steel frame, steel bar-joist with metal deck and concrete floors, metal deck and tapered insulation roof with fully adhered membrane, cavity wall masonry exterior, and blast resistant windows, skylights and doors. Various security measures and systems are incorporated throughout the building per the Department of Defense guidelines. The project will consist of administrative and support offices, classrooms and lecture hall, large assembly hall with kitchen, specialty data rooms, weapons vaults and simulator training room, unit and gear storage areas, physical fitness area, controlled waste handling facility, indoor vehicle storage bays and facility maintenance. Supporting facilities include civilian vehicle parking, military vehicle parking, fencing, sidewalks, exterior lighting, access roads and service aprons, site preparation, including erosion control and storm water management, utilities and exterior fire protection.
