Project Title:Morris Bridge Sink Pump Test Pumping Facilities
Building Type:Municipal Water and Wastewater Facilities

Project Description:

Water Treatment,Sewage Treatment

Mobilization, installation, rental, and demobilization of temporary pumping facilities to conduct a 30-day pump test at the Morris Bridge Sink located south of Morris Bridge Road, east of Interstate 75, in Hillsborough County, Florida, as generally depicted in the attached exhibits. Upon the District's completion of the 30-day pump test, Tampa Bay Water (TBW), the region's municipal water supplier, may elect to continue to use the pumping facilities to pump water to the Tampa Bypass Canal (TBC) from Morris Bridge Sink for water supply purposes to supplement the City of Tampa's reservoir. The pumping facilities are to be capable of continuously pumping from 6 cfs (minimum rate) up to 11 cfs (maximum rate) from the Morris Bridge Sink to the upper pool of the Tampa Bypass Canal (TBC), and across Structure S-159 Upper on the TBC located approximately 11,500 feet south of the upper terminus of the upper pool of the TBC, as generally depicted in the Location Map for Morris Bridge Sink Pump Test exhibit. Pumping facilities shall include variable speed electric and diesel pumps, a diesel-powered electric generator, flow meters, HDPE pipeline and all necessary fittings, adaptors, couplings, hardware, and electrical wiring to deliver the desired flow rates at the two locations shown. Installation shall include all equipment and labor to necessary transport and install the pumping facilities as depicted in the attached exhibits. Demobilization shall include all equipment and labor necessary to disassemble and remove the installed pumping facilities.
