Raven Industries was founded in Sioux Falls, SD in 1956, as a manufacturer of high-altitude research balloons for NASA and the American space program.

From that single product line, Raven has evolved into a successful, diversified manufacturer publicly traded on Nasdaq. Their business makeup has changed over the last few years as a result of strategic actions, but one thing has never changed: their commitment to providing high-quality, high-value products.

Today’s product lines are incorporated into three divisions and one wholly-owned subsidiary.
