Surface Door Closers

Backed by a 25-year warranty, DORMA offers surface-applied closers with an assortment of specialty function arms, mounting plates and brackets and a range of painted or electroplated architectural finishes. The product line includes the heavy-duty 8900 Series, the hydraulic TS93 Series and the 8600 Series, with full range spring power adjustment and ADA barrier-free accessibility. All Grade 1 closers are manufactured to ANSI A156.4 standards.

Concealed Door Closers

DORMA concealed door closers are available for aluminum, wood or hollow metal doors. The product line includes floor-concealed closers to control exceptionally heavy single- and double-acting doors, floor-concealed closers with an electromagnetic hydraulic hold-open, concealed-in-door and overhead concealed door closers. All DORMA concealed door closers comply with barrier-free requirements.

Exit Devices

DORMA offers a complete line of UL- and CUL-listed exit devices. Certified to ANSI A156.3 standards for Grade 1 exit devices, the product line includes heavy-duty 9000 Series; AD4000 Series for applications requiring both ANSI A156.3 and EN1125 compliance; 5000 Series for narrow stile doors; 8000 Series with deadlocking latch bolts to minimize forced entry and a variety of exit device strikes for commercial and nonresidential applications. Exit device options include alarmed or delayed exit, electric latch retraction and device monitoring.

Locks

DORMA locks for commercial and institutional doors offer a selection of architectural finishes and lever designs across the entire line. Locks include Grade 1 mortise and cylindrical locks, Grade 2 cylindrical and tubular locks, interconnected locksets with cylindrical chassis and tubular deadbolts, and locksets with tubular chassis. Models throughout the line are UL- and CUL-listed meet or exceed ANSI A156.3 standards for Grade 1 exit devices. DORMA also offers a complete selection of cylinders and keying options, including master keying, construction master keying and patented key control.

Low Energy Operators

Using microprocessor technology, the ADA-compliant DORMA ED800 provides accessibility for individuals with physical challenges. This low energy operator meets ANSI A156.19 requirements and provides sufficient strength to keep doors closed, while providing easy and unencumbered access.

Electronic Access Control

A comprehensive line of electronic access control hardware complements door controls and exit devices. EML Series electromagnetic locks, with field selectable dual voltage (12 VDC or 24 VDC), provides positive, fail-safe operation without moving parts to bind or wear. EMSL-2000 Series has a patented Micro Shear design with high tensile strength that combines aesthetics, high security and performance. EMDE-1000 Series is a technologically advanced, UL listed, self-contained system that meets NFPA Life Safety Code 101 and Special Locking Arrangements. The product line also includes electric strikes, power supplies and accessories such as key switches, push switches, control consoles and programmable digital keypads.

Additional Architectural Hardware Products

• Coordinator Systems - Provide reliable, sequential closing for fire doors. The GSR Series coordinator is housed in the track unit and performs functions that normally require multiple hardware components. Twin TS93 closers comply with barrier-free requirements and feature a cam and roller mechanism that is smoother and easier than traditional rack and pinion closers. The systems are available with optional electromagnetic hold open.
• Closers/Holder/Release Devices - DORMA closers, holders and release devices hold doors open under normal conditions, and instantly release and close doors in an emergency. The components can be integrated into fire or alarm systems or can function as stand alones with integral smoke detection..
• Stops and Holders - DORMA stops and holders limit door swing, both protecting the door and preventing wall damage. Surface and concealed versions are available.
• Pivots - DORMA offers an LM Series of mortised and surface-mounted pivots for center-hung, offset and pocket door applications.
