Belden Brick manufactures both extruded and soft mud variety pavers. Some extruded pavers are available with chamfered edges and spacer lugs. With their low water absorption and high compressive strength, Belden pavers perform well in a variety of applications, including walkways, stairs, patios, terraces, courtyards and driveways. Pavers can be manufactured to match or complement most of the face brick produced by Belden.

Belden pavers are available in several color ranges, including creams, tans/buffs, browns/blacks, grays, reds and pinks. Belden pavers are available in the following sizes and textures:

• Wire-cut 2 1/4" x 4" x 8" (57 x 102 x 203 mm); select products available with chamfered edges and spacer lugs
• Wire-cut 2 3/4" x 4" x 8" (70 x 102 x 203 mm); select products available with chamfered edges and spacer lugs
• Sand mold 2 1/4" x 3 5/8" x 7 5/8" (57 x 92 x 194 mm)
• Smooth texture 1 1/8" x 3 5/8" x 7 5/8" (29 x 92 x 194 mm); ironspot products only
• Smooth texture 2 1/4" x 3 5/8" x 7 5/8" (57 x 92 x 194 mm); ironspot products only
• Smooth or wire-cut face 2 1/4" x 4" x 8" (57 x 102 x 203 mm); ironspot products only
• Custom shapes are available

Properties, Performance

• Meets or exceeds ASTM C902 Standard Specification for Pedestrian and Light Traffic Paving Brick, Class SX, Type 1
• Meets or exceeds ASTM C1272, Type R (pavers of 2 1/4" (57 mm) thickness or greater), Standard Specification for Heavy Vehicular Paving Brick. Select Belden Brick pavers are available in this specification as Type F (pavers of 2 5/8" (67 mm) thickness or greater)

Capabilities, Services
The Belden Brick Company operates 7 brick plants that utilize state-of-the-art tunnel kilns and traditional beehive kilns. A large inventory of dies, templates, mold boxes and other tools for creating custom shapes provides Belden with options for both large-scale production runs and unique specialty items.
At the completion of the production process, every Belden brick is inspected, sorted and blended by hand to provide the desired color blend needed for the jobsite to save construction time and achieve a balanced appearance.
