The Direct Colors Concrete Acid Stain System can be used to create unique and permanent coloring in concrete, self-leveling topping systems, gunite, stucco, shotcrete, natural stone marble, cultured stone, limestone and other surfaces. The translucent stains create color effects that simulate the natural shading and aged appearance of stone or masonry.

Direct Colors Concrete Acid Stains are a unique formulation of blended metallic salts in an acidic water-based solution. The metallic salts penetrate and react with chemical substances in the concrete to deposit color into the concrete pores. The colors, comprised of a complex proprietary formula, contain no pigments or resins and, when highlighted with the proper sealer, create an attractive natural glow.

Direct Colors Concrete Acid Stains are available in 10 standard colors that can be viewed in an online color chart at www.directcolors.com. The color chart should be used as a guideline only, as the age of the existing slab, mix design, finishing techniques, concrete base colors and surface permeability affect the final appearance and effects of the applied stain. Testing small areas or samples prior to job application is always recommended.
