Product Description, Applications
Both the energex® Standard System and the energex® Water Management System offer decorative, lightweight weather protection to the applied structure and are ideal for both new and retrofit construction.

The energex® Standard System includes the attachment, insulation board, reinforcement, basecoat and finish. The attachments are offered with a selection of wet or dry base- coats and mechanical fasteners. The insulation board is flat type, made of expanded polystyrene, and cured for dimensional stability. Reinforcements are made of glass fiber fabric mesh, which provides added tensile strength and impact resistance to the system.

The energex® Water Management System uses the same reinforcements, basecoats and finishes as the Standard System, but includes an added weather barrier component. The system is available in 3 different types:

• Water Management with Roll-On Membrane - Uses the flat type EPS board used in the Standard System
• Water Management with Grooved Back EPS - Uses a grooved EPS insulation board which is mechanically attached over the weather barrier
• Water Management with Stucco Wrap - Uses a grooved EPS insulation board which is mechanically attached over the weather barrier

Finishes
Finishes for both systems are 100% acrylic copolymers that are resistant to cracking, UV rays, mildew, freeze/thaw cycling and abrasion. A variety of standard and custom color options are available.

Warranty
Energex offers a 5 year limited warranty for the Standard System and a 10 year limited warranty for the Water Management Systems.
