Product Description
Englert Inc. offers a wide variety of residential and commercial metal roofing systems that can be used for new construction or for reroof projects. Englert metal roofing is long-lasting, reroofing compatible, environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, wind and fire resistant, and quiet. An Englert metal roof is lightweight, which enables re-covering where heavier systems could not be used.
Product Description, Applications
Englert roof systems are engineered to accommodate the most complex roof configurations, including hips, valleys, dormers and a broad range of pitches; some systems are suited to roof pitches of less than 3":12" (76 mm: 305 mm). The transitions between roof surfaces and other building elements, including mansards, fascia, siding and soffits, can be cleanly and seamlessly detailed in a variety of profiles.
Construction, Materials, Finishes
Thirteen standing seam system styles are available, including 6 integral, snap-lock panels; 4 mechanically seamed types; 1 snap-lock batten style; and 2 flush panel systems. Englert systems are anchored by clips and concealed fasteners to create a floating roof that allows for thermal expansion and contraction.
Galvalume® steel, galvanized steel and aluminum roofing materials receive a 4-step cleaning and finishing process. Then the metal is coiled, which enables panels to be formed at the site in virtually any length from ridge to eave. Standard panel widths are from 12" – 24" (305 – 610 mm).
Twenty-three standard colors are available in Galvalume coated steel. In addition, 3 PermaMetallics 3500 finishes in Champagne, Metallic Copper and Preweathered Galvalume give a unique look to any roof. Englert’s standard finish is a full-strength Kynar 500® and Hylar 5000® coating. Acrylics, polyesters, plastisols and siliconized polyesters are also available. Coatings can be applied to one or both sides of the material. Striations and stucco embossing can be used to add texture to the finish.
