Manufactured using fine hardwoods and A-Grade veneers, Koch Doors feature a signature lag bolt construction. Bored through the door edges to secure stiles and rails, the metal lag bolts are significantly stronger than traditional wood dowels and protect against joint separation. Koch stiles, rails and panels are constructed around stable engineered cores to eliminate warping, cracking and splitting. Additionally, each door completes a 3-stage sanding process, which includes hand sanding and thorough final inspection. Door styles are available in standard 6'8 (2.05 m), 7' (2.1 m), and 8' (2.4 m) sizes; nominal heights and widths are also available.

SENECA LAG DOOR SERIES
The Seneca Lag Series is a line of 1 3/8” (35 mm) interior doors including Panel, French, Bifold, Louver and V-Groove stylings. Constructed of A-Grade Select veneers laminated to engineered composite cores, this series is available in several wood species including; Red Oak, Ponderosa Pine, Radiata Pine, Knotty Pine, Poplar, Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Hem Fir, Douglas Fir, Birch, Hickory, Walnut, Ash, Knotty Alder, Knotty Cedar and Beech. Other species are available upon request. French doors are constructed with individual panes of tempered glass covered with a removable film to simplify finishing. MDF doors are also available primed and ready for paint.

IMPERIAL DOORS
The Imperial Door Series is a quality line of interior and exterior doors with panel, glass and sidelite options. These handcrafted 1 3/4” (44 mm) wood entry doors include solid wood edge sticking and weather-resistant engineered lumber cores for exceptional structural stability. Designed to fit a broad range of architectural styles and settings, Imperial Doors are available in several wood species. Special orders are available for interior residential and commercial applications. There is no warranty on exterior use doors.

PREMIER DOORS

Premier Doors are wood doors for use in front halls and foyers, with decorative glass inserts of clear, obscure, colored or leaded glass. The 1 3/4” (44 mm) doors accept insulated and decorative glass lites normally found only in steel doors, and the glass inserts are installed in solid hardwood framing. Premier Doors also offer lag bolt construction, A grade veneers, and weather resistant engineered cores. Several wood species are available including Red Oak, Poplar, Pine, Cherry, Maple and many more.

ENVIRONMENTAL DOORS

Koch’s Environmental Door series features no added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) along with 90% recycled wood fiber or post consumer recycled wood waste. This series is constructed the same as other Koch doors including lag bolt construction and a three-stage sanding process. All Koch Environmental doors meet CARB Phase 2 certification and may also contribute toward LEED Credit points. FSC mixed credit is also an available option.

FORMANEK DOORS

Low-maintenance Formanek Doors combine the strength and durability of steel or fiberglass exterior with an attractive real wood interior. These residential doors feature an insulated core, along with a natural wood surface on the interior and primed steel or fiberglass cladding on the exterior. The Formanek Door can be purchased as a slab or a pre-hung unit with many decorative glass options to choose from.

FIRE DOORS

Koch and Company’s recently expanded line of fire doors offer safety, beauty and affordability. Now available are 20, 45, 60 and 90 minute fire doors with the additional options of using V-Groove Panels and Bolection Molding. Fire rated wood frames for 20, 45, and 60 minute fire doors are available. Double doors, 8’ (2.4 m) tall fire doors and Mortise locks are now available in our fire door line. All Koch and Company’s panel door designs are available with a fire rating, allowing you the same consistency throughout a project. The architectural 1 3/4” (44 mm) stile and rail doors are available with Category “A” or Category “B” positive pressure construction.

PRE-FINISHING

Pre-finished doors may be purchased upon request. The options currently available are:

• Clear coat finish
• Hand wiped stain with clear coat finish
• Dye stain with clear coat finish
• Hand wiped stain, glazed, with clear coat finish

Stain can be purchased for field finishing of trim.
