The Liebert STS2™is a static transfer switch that allows automatic switching for dual bus loads, providing a seamless transfer of power to two independent UPS systems. The switch will automatically transfer the loads the the alternate UPS should the primary one fail. It is available in 100A, 250A, 400A, 600A, 800A and 1000A sizes, and is 60 Hz or 50 Hz field selectable.

The unit is extremely flexible, with front access to all components, allowing easy installation and maintenance. It can be placed adjacent to or in back of other equipment, or against a wall. All key components are visible and accessible from the front of the unit.

Other notable features include standard on-unit monitoring, a 100% rated, fuseless design and hot swappable circuit breakers. A flash memory enables firmware updates while supporting critical loads. A color, touch screen LCD interface provides simple and intuitive controls and allows a quick status check of the unit.
