GYP-CRETE® FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT

  • The industry standard for use over wood subfloors in multifamily construction
  • Smooth surface is ideal for finished floor coverings

GYP-CRETE 2000®/3.2K FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT

  • For use over wood subfloors in single-family, light commercial and renovation projects
  • Can also be used over a special encapsulant to abate vinyl asbestos tile
  • Crack-resistant surface provides a perfect base for most floor coverings
  • Compressive strengths to 3200 psi (22 MPa)
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

DURA-CAP® FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT

  • Ideal for smoothing rough, pitted, cracked and out-of-level concrete slabs or precast planks in new or renovation projects
  • Also for use over a special encapsulant to abate vinyl asbestos tile
  • Can be poured from 3" (76 mm) deep to a featheredge directly over adhesive residue and old floor coverings
  • Compressive strengths to 3800 psi (26 MPa)
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

THERMA-FLOOR® FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT

  • Designed to enhance radiant floor heating systems, due to its thin thermal mass
  • Pours 1 1/4" (32 mm) thick over hot water tubes or electric heating cables, encasing them in crack-resistant, noncombustible gypsum
  • Compressive strengths to 3,000 psi (21 MPa)
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

COMMERCIAL TOPPING®

  • Ideal for resilient flooring applications; meets ASTM F710
  • Pours from a featheredge to 3" (76 mm) over VAT, VCT, terrazzo or ceramic, with no shotblasting required
  • Compressive strengths to 4500 psi (31 MPa)
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

  • Stiffens the floor, helping to eliminate squeaks and nail pops
  • Creates a barrier between wood and other flammable materials, retarding the spread of flames and smoke; UL listed

Maxxon® Rapid Floor® Systems floor underlayments offer solutions for practically any flooring challenge — from new construction to renovation, commercial to single family applications. In addition to fast installation and a new, smooth surface, they also bring significant sound control and fire resistance properties to every project.

RAPID FLOOR® PLUS

  • Provides increased strength and surface hardness required in light commercial construction, single family and renovation applications
  • Performs to 3200 psi (22 MPa)
  • For use over precast and cast-in-place concrete and wood subfloors
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

RAPID FLOOR® ULTRA

  • Caps uneven, rough, cracked or spalled concrete subfloors in renovation and new commercial construction projects
  • Installs above, on or below grade without troweling
  • Performs to 4000 psi (27 MPa)
  • Temporary wear surface after 2 - 4 hours
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

RAPID RADIANT®

  • Poured over hot water tubes or electric heating cables
  • A thin thermal mass that enhances heating system responsiveness
  • Now always made with pre-consumer recycled content and considered a "green" building material

  • Fills subfloor cracks and seals perimeter joints, significantly reducing sound leaks
  • High density application stiffens the floor, helping to eliminate squeaks and nail pops
  • Creates a barrier between wood and other flammable materials, retarding the spread of flames and smoke
  • Rated 0 for flamespread, fuel contribution and smoke density in testing by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc.
  • Over precast concrete, can increase the UL rating by 2 hours
