Mule-Hide Products offers time proven membrane roofing products, manufactured under strict quality control, in a selection of sheet sizes, lengths and membrane thicknesses.

EPDM MEMBRANE

Mule-Hide high performance membranes withstand tearing, impact, puncture and normal traffic, and provide outstanding resistance to ozone and aging. Manufactured in accordance with ASTM D4637 standards, Mule-Hide Products offers EPDM membranes for a range of new construction and retrofit applications:

• Non-reinforced Black EPDM 0.045" (45 mil) - A cost-efficient, single-ply membrane for ballasted systems
• Non-reinforced Black EPDM 0.060" (60 mil) - A non-reinforced membrane for fully-adhered systems
• Reinforced Black EPDM 0.045" (45 mil) and 0.60" (60 mil) - A tough, polyester reinforced membrane, with outstanding tear and puncture resistance for mechanically attached systems
• White-on-Black Non-reinforced EPDM - A CCRC® (Cool Roof Rating Council) listed membrane that reflects sunlight for energy cost savings in fully adhered systems
• A complete line of EPDM accessories, including adhesives, reinforced membrane strips, tapes, tape primer, caulk, flashing, pipe boots, fasteners, plates and insulation, ensures performance and compatibility

PVC MEMBRANE

Mule-Hide Thermoplastic PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) Membrane is polyester reinforced for mechanically attached and fully adhered roofing systems. Fully weldable, with a low volatility plasticizer and outdoor grade titanium dioxide pigment, Mule-Hide PVC Membrane is formulated for long-term weather resistance. Available in three thicknesses, 0.050"(50 mil), 0.060" (60 mil) and 0.080" (80 mil), this membrane can also be used as flexible flashing for walls or curbs. Its features include:

• Outstanding impact and wind uplift resistance
• UV, bacteria and chemical resistance
• Light color reflects sunlight for energy savings
• Remains flexible to -40 degrees F (-40 degrees C)
• Available in UL Class A, Class B and Class C
• FM classified assemblies available

TPO MEMBRANE

Mule-Hide 100% recyclable TPO Membrane is a polyester reinforced, polyolefin based thermoplastic membrane. Available 0.045" (45 mil), 0.060" (60 mil) and 0.080" (80 mil) thicknesses, this TPO Membrane is suited for mechanically attached and fully adhered roofing assemblies, and can also be used as flexible membrane flashing for installations with TPO membrane roofing systems. Its features include:

• Resists cracking, even with prolonged exposure to -30 degrees F (-34 degrees C)
• Outstanding resistance to UV, ozone and oxidation
• Resists acids, bases, oils and greases
• Low vapor permeance and water absorption
• Environmentally-friendly - Contains no liquid or polymeric plasticizer
• A complete line of accessories, including adhesives, walkway rolls, T-joint covers, reinforced membrane strips, tapes, tape primer, caulk, flashing, pipe boots, fasteners, plates and insulation, ensures performance

SELF-ADHERING MODIFIED BITUMEN MEMBRANE

Mule-Hide Products uses patented Adeso® Technology to produce APP and SBS formulations for self-adhering modified bitumen membrane roofing. The dual compound system, with a true APP or SBS on the top surface and a proprietary self-adhesive compound on the bottom surface, can be installed to eight types of substrates, without hot asphalt or flame. Mule-Hide uses the latest technology to provide strong and reliable seams and laps, with performance that meets or exceeds ASTM standards. Ideal for applications where hot asphalt, cold process adhesive or propane torches are unacceptable, Mule-Hide Self-Adhering Modified Bitumen features include:

• High performance polyester reinforced mat cap sheets and fiberglass reinforced mat base sheets
• Patented SEALLap® side laps include strong factory-applied adhesive on the lap edge for instant bonding
• Patented FASTLap® technology creates factory quality and granule-free end laps
• Watertight bonding, without mastic on seams
• Available in SA-APP Cap Sheet, SA-SBS Cap Sheet, SA-SBS Fire-Resistant Cap Sheet or SA-APP KoolCap™ that is CA-Title 24 compliant
• Environmentally-friendly - Contains no liquid or polymeric plasticizer
• A complete line of accessories, including flashing adhesives, sealants, asphalt primer and water base vertical primer ensures long-term performance

MULE-HIDE LIVING ROOFS™

Mule-Hide Products offers Living Roofs with EPDM or TPO waterproofing system options featuring GreenGrid® vegetative modules that arrive onsite preplanted and ready for installation.

• Modular design maximizes stormwater management to reduce the need for retention ponds
• Lightweight interlocking modules can be installed on existing, structurally sound roof surfaces
• Available with Mule-Hide TPO or EPDM
• Ideal for projects desiring partial vegetative roofing sections
