Woodtone Building Products designs and manufactures ornamental woodwork products, including wood posts and columns, from an appearance grade, Western Canadian SPF (spruce, pine, fir). RealPost™ is a structural porch post that is finger-jointed, edge-laminated, pressed and then moulded to its final appearance grade. It does not require wrapping on all four sides; it requires only a simple top coat, saving both money and time. The finished product includes a primer warranty, as well as a warranty against rot, warping, twisting, and joint separation. RealPost is structurally certified in both Canada (CCMC #13314-R) and the US (NER #703).

RealPost is suited for new construction and retrofit applications in single family homes, multi-family and multi-level developments. Possible uses include:
