The Sherwin-Williams Company manufactures a variety of flooring treatments for industrial and commercial use, including static control, static dissipative and conductive products and systems.
Product Description
Under its General Polymers® product line, the Sherwin-Williams Company offers several flooring treatment systems that resist or control static energy and provide protection where static control is critical.
- TPM #115 Sparkproof/Conductive System - High build protective surfacing utilizes a conductive epoxy based mortar, high build grout and selected topcoats to provide sparkproof static dissipating floors within the required ohms resistance range
- TRAFFICOTE™ #105 SD Self-Leveling Static Dissipative - Fluid, self-leveling mixture provides a high build protective surfacing utilizing a high solids, low viscosity binder resin; easily spread with a v-notched trowel or squeegee for a smooth, attractive finish and can be finished with a high gloss urethane or a stipple finish epoxy topcoat
- Static Control Epoxy Coating System - Provides a thin-mil electrostatic conductive coating in an attractive finish with a stipple finish epoxy topcoat
- Static Dissipative Coating #18 SD - Comprised of a penetrating epoxy primer and aliphatic urethane topcoat with a 106 - 109 ohms resistance range
System components are also available separately and include:
- 3524 Epoxy Conductive Primer/Sealer - A black, 2-component polyamide epoxy designed as a primer for conductive or static dissipative coatings, slurry and mortar systems
- 3528 Conductive Primer - A conductive epoxy primer formulated for use on concrete to provide uniform electrical conductivity under General Polymers conductive and static dissipative flooring systems
- 3525E Static Control Epoxy Coating - A high solids, 2-component epoxy coating for static dissipative and conductive flooring systems
- 3561C Conductive/Sparkproof Epoxy Resin Glaze - A high solids, 2-component black conductive epoxy resin used as the binder resin and grout coats for the system
- 3564 Static Dissipative Binder Resin - A high solids, 2-component clear epoxy binder resin used for static dissipative flooring systems
- 4618E Static Dissipative Polyurethane Enamel - Provides electrical resistance of 106 - 109 ohms and may be used as a topcoat in a coating, slurry or troweled system when installed over a conductive base
