LP® SolidStart® Laminated Strand Lumber (LSL) provides a strong, reliable and cost-effective alternative to traditional lumber. Its enhanced strength allows for a span of greater distances, and LSL resists twisting, warping and shrinking, so there's no need to assemble built-up headers or beams.

SolidStart LSL can be used for a wide range of building applications, from door and window headers to studs and truss chords. It is also ideal for:

• Flat walls for custom finishes and flush cabinetry
• Long spans
• Headers for specialty doors and windows
• Straight walls for easy installation of finish carpentry
• Tall walls

Made from a mixture of northern hardwoods like Aspen and Maple, LP's laminated strand lumber is bonded using a state-of-the-art steam injection process.
