Thermoplastic Single-Ply Membrane Roofing

SmartBuilding Index Featured Product Overview
CSI Classification:
Thermoplastic Membrane Roofing (07 54 00)

Product Description

Thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) single-ply roofing membranes from Firestone offer many installation and performance advantages, including superior resistance to ultraviolet, ozone and chemical exposure.

Product Description, Applications

ULTRAPLY TPO ROOFING SYSTEMS
UltraPly TPO Roofing Systems is a flexible, hot-air welded membrane that is ideal for a variety of building types and low slope commercial roofing applications.

UltraPly TPO is available in reflective white, tan or gray colors, all of which help with a building’s cooling requirements. Sizes available include 8', 10' and 12' widths.

PLATINUM TPO ROOFING SYSTEMS
Fireston Platinum TPO Roofing is made of a durable, 80-mil thick scrim-reinforced membrane, which offers exceptional puncture, tear and abrasion resistance. The membrane also features Firestone Wide-Weld technology to provide strong field seams and a high wind rating, and the reflective surface meets EnergyStar® standards for energy savings in warm climates. UltraPly Platinum TPO is the first thermoplastic roofing system backed by a 30-year warranty.

REFLEXEON TPO ROOFING SYSTEMS
ReflexEON TPO Roofing Systems is the result of more than 10 years laboratory and field testing on actual rooftops, and the first thermoplastic roofing membrane that reduces the effects of microbial growth, preserving the membrane’s color and reflective properties. Accordingly, ReflexEON TPO remains cleaner and extends the membrane’s ability to reflect heat and improve a building’s energy efficiency. ReflexEON TPO is available as a 60-mil-thick membrane and is warranted for up to 20 years.

The ReflexEON TPO Platinum Roofing System features an 80-mil-thick membrane mechanically attached or fully adhered to Firestone HailGard composite insulation, which gives outstanding thermal performance and puncture resistance. The added insulation gives this system a 30-year total warranty.

ULTRAPLY TPO XR ROOFING SYSTEMS
UltraPly TPO XR Roofing Systems has an external backing of eight-ounce, non-woven polyester, and offers an additional internal and external reinforcement for exceptional puncture resistance. UltraPly TPO XR also features the heat welding properties of thermoplastic in an adhered application, and enables the roofing system to be installed with either hot asphalt or Firestone UltraPly TPO XR Bonding Adhesive. It provides superior weatherability and strong resistance to UV rays, as well as resistance to microbial growth and common rooftop chemicals. UltraPly TPO XR is available in white, tan or gray and in widths of 45- or 60-mil, and is ideal for new and reroof applications over a variety of roofing substrates.
