Zeledyne produces the Versalux® (formerly Sunglas®) line of tinted and tinted reflective coated glass in 7 different colors. Two reflective coatings are applied to the colored substrates to produce 5 blues, 5 greens, 3 greys, and 2 bronze products.

Product Description, Applications
Zeledyne’s Versalux glass is designed to filter out the sun’s heat and UV rays, promoting energy efficiency and reducing fabric fade. It is ideal for commercial and residential applications.

VERSALUX
Available in blue, green, grey and bronze, Versalux offers a pleasing appearance, reduces glare, solar heat gain, UV and visible light transmission compared to uncoated clear glass.

VERSALUX R
A pyrolytic reflective coating is applied to the Versalux tints to enhance solar performance. Pyrolytic coatings can be fabricated and post-heat treated without damaging the reflective surface. Orientation of the reflective surface in the finished state provides additional design options.

VERSALUX 2000
Available in blue, green and grey, Versalux 2000 provides deeper colors and enhanced solar performance compared to Versalux.

VERSLAUX 2000R
A pyrolytic reflective coating is applied to Versalux Blue 2000 and Green 2000 to further enhance solar performance.

VERSALUX 2000T
A titanium-based pyrolytic coating is applied to Versalux Blue 2000 and Green 2000 providing excellent thermal properties while offering an expanded color palette to design professionals.

Construction, Materials, Finishes
Versalux glass is easy to fabricate and install, with color consistency and tone uniformity. It is available in a range of thicknesses for most architectural applications. Reflective glass and some Versalux 2000 products may require heat-strengthening or tempering to reduce the possibility of solar-induced thermal stress breakage.
