AST Bearings

Spherical Plain Bearings from AST are suitable for off-highway vehicles, Construction and Mining equipment, Agricultural and Logging equipment, Hydraulic cylinders and Packaging equipment. They come in standard industrial bore sizes from 0.5 inches to 12 inches as well as metric sizes from 4mm to 300mm. Custom sizes also available.

Five Basic Types are Available:

• Standard Radial Heavy radial loading, accommodates misalignment, thrust loading, and non-separable.
• Extended Inner Ring Eliminates locational spacers.
• High Misalignment Heavy cross section, accommodates greater misalignment.
• Angular Contact Single acting-for unidirectional thrust and combination loads.
• Self-lubricated Teflon, dry film or injection molded polymer lubrication for low maintenance.

Other features available are fractured, solid or two-piece outer rings, two or three piece metal-to-metal constructions, open or sealed versions and maintenance free lining.
