A new innovative way for your asphalt crews to save time and money are with reusable TempRamps at end-of-day joints. Simply lay mats down and anchor, then finish rolling down the ramp. Next morning, TempRamps can be picked up and put into a pickup truck. Paving can start with a straight edge already there.
Also, these same TempRamps can be placed at milled butt joints when the paver is still a few days away from paving. This allows a smooth transition for the motoring public without complaints on car alignments. Once paving crews show up to pave, anchors can be backed out of TempRamps and placed into a pickup truck for later use.
