In addition to how we can reduce on the front end we should consider how to reuse on the backend. Consider the many uses that have been developed for Tires - the “old” materials are used in everything from carpet pad to playground ground cover. What are some creative ways that your construction “waste” has been reused?

Green=NO Waste

Being Green should really start with creating less waste. I know of a project that received a "Green" award for recycling concrete. It was a new construction project and the concrete came from pouring concrete based on a set of drawings that were not well coordinated. Once the dust settled and many change orders later they jack hammered it up and "recycled it". How are we all planning to waste less on the front end?
