Creating user-defined costlines
User-defined costlines let you customize your estimates with specific data. Once added to your estimate, you can edit the data in your user-defined costlines.
To create and edit a user-defined costline,

With the estimate you are working with open, click Insert from the edit toolbar:
Result: The Insert / Update User-Defined Line Item Screen menu is displayed:

Complete the fields in the menu and click Save.
Note: See Using Cost Books for information about adding a user-defined costline.
Result: The user-defined costline is added to your estimate.

To edit a user-defined costline, right-click on the user-defined costline to open the Insert / Update User-Defined Line Item Screen. Make your changes and click Save to save your changes and close the menu. |
