Searching for costlines
You can search for costlines to add to your estimates using the search bar located at the top of the estimate window:
Note: See the section for adding costlines for more information about adding or removing costlines from your estimate.
The following table describes how you can use the costline search bar.

type a partial or complete 12-digit CSI line number. |

use the drop-down menu to select either Keyword or Advance.

- Enter words such as door or window or copper wire.
- Click Search.
The results load into the Search Results window above your estimate window:

- Enter words such as door or copper. Use single words only. Do not use quotation marks " " around words.
- Click Search.
A window opens showing you the available costlines for your search:
- Click on a link to load the costline into the Search Results window above your estimate window:

| Advance |
Add words such as AND, OR, and AND NOT. Use quotation marks " " to surround descriptive words:
Example:
- Enter phrases such as "copper" AND "wire" .
- Click Search.
The results load into the Search Results window above your estimate window:
Refine your search to results that:
- contain ALL the search terms you type in
- contain the exact phrase you type in
- contain at least one of the words you type in
- do NOT contain words you type in.
