Using the Estimate Action menu
The Estimate Action menu lets you perform a variety of estimate tasks, including viewing, printing, and exporting your estimates, creating reports, marking costlines as subcontracted, and editing cost data.
To use the Estimate Action menu,

With the estimate you are working with open, click the Estimate Action drop-down list:

Select the option you want to use and click Go:
Use the following table as a guide in using the Estimate Action options.

| Change Estimate Header |
Opens the preferences menu of the estimate.
See the section for Completing the estimate basics in Creating an estimate for information about using this menu. |

Opens the estimate in a separate window. You can choose to print an estimate preview. An estimate report can be converted to a .PDF format for printing or distribution.
Use the following table for using the options for either Preview or Report.

a summary unit costs showing subcontracted lines. |

| Mark Subcontracted |
Marks a costline as subcontracted or removes the subcontracted indication. When a costline is marked as subcontracted, an S is added to the costline detail:

| Email Reports |
Use to send as e-mail attachments the following estimate reports:
- Unit cost detail
- Unit cost summary
- Unit cost detail with subcontracted lines
- Unit cost summary with subcontracted lines

| Export to Excel |
Click to export the estimate as an Excel spreadsheet. You can choose to open or save the estimate in .XLS format. |
