Purchasing SmartProject News Subscriptions
A SmartProject News subscription gives you access to selected current construction project and company information, including downloadable project plans and specifications. You can purchase subscriptions based on project type, geography, and monthly cost, or choose a SmartLeads subscription that lets you select exactly the projects you want to access.
This section contains information to help you decide the type of subscription to purchase and step-by-step instructions for buying a
SmartProject News subscription.

When viewing project details, the listed value of a project is in the currency of the country where the project is located. When buying subscriptions, however, the price and amount charged is in American dollars. For more information, contact

| SmartLeads Bundles |
A SmartLeads subscription is made up of a set number of activations that allow you to choose the projects in your subscription.
Once you purchase a SmartLeads subscription, you simply activate a project you want to access, up to the maximum of your SmartLeads activation amount. No matter when you activate a project during the subscription period, you have access to that project for a full year.
Note: Adding plans and specs to a project counts as an additional activation. You can activate plans and specs at a later date than the project's activation, but access to plans and specs doesn't extend beyond a project's activation.

This section contains step-by-step instructions for purchasing a
SmartProject News subscription.

Note: You cannot have a both a SmartLeads subscription and a State subscription at the same time. If you currently have a SmartLeads or a State SmartProject News subscription, you can only purchase a subscription of another type after your current subscription expires.

To purchase a SmartProject News subscription,

Click on one of the following:
- the Buy it Today! link located on the SmartProject News Home page or
- any Subscribers Only link in a project listing and then the Subscribe Today link.
Result: The
SmartProject News Online Store menu is displayed.
Note: Regional subscribers viewing a project summary see subscription information for the area where the project is located.

Use the following table to select subscription options to purchase:

Select 10 or 25 activations.
Note: Adding plans and specs to a project counts as an addtional activation. Be sure you purchase enough activations to allow for sufficient access to project plans and specs.

- Select the state
- Use the Plans and Specs drop-down list to select Annual.

Once you select the the subscription options to purchase, click Add to Cart.
Result: The Your Shopping Cart menu is displayed, as described in the following table:

The amount of each individual subscription you are ordering.
Note: Carefully check this number to make sure you are buying the correct number of subscriptions.
Tip: To change the number of subscriptions you are purchasing,
- simply type the new number into the Quantity box
- click Update Total.
Result: The Price and Total boxes automatically refresh with the updated cost.

When you are ready to check out, click Check Out.
Tip: Click Continue Shopping to return to the
SmartProject News Online Store.
Result: The Your Address page is displayed. |

Is your information listed on the Your Address page correct?
- If yes, click Next Step.
- If no, correct the information and click Next Step.
Result: The Order and Payment page is displayed. |

In the Order and Payment page,
- read and check that you have read the Terms and Conditionsenter your credit card number
- select the expiration date for your credit card number
- enter any comments or special instructions for your order
Note: For State subscriptions, type BILL ME MONTHLY in the comment box for your account to be billed monthly. This billing cycle prints on your receipt.
Result: Your Reed Construction Data Customer Receipt is displayed.
Note: An e-mail receipt of your purchase is also sent to your e-mail account. Print this for your records. |

Click the link Return to SmartProject News at the bottom of the receipt page to return to your previous location when you began the subscription process.
Note: If you purchased a SmartLeads subscription, the page you were viewing is redisplayed showing the number of activations you now have available and an option to activate the current page. |
