Dean Paulson

Vice President, National Account Sales

Dean Paulson boasts 16 years of experience in the construction-information industry and is an expert in the field of sales and sales management.

Since joining Reed Construction Data in 2005, Dean has assisted in reorganizing the national accounts sales force, developing the professional services and analytics departments, initiating and implementing a new sales approach with $1 million in new business growth and has been involved in new product development.

Prior to his position with Reed Construction Data, Paulson gained significant experience with McGraw-Hill Construction. Starting as a sales service representative, he quickly moved up to a regional account representative and consistently finished in the top five percent of quota achievers in the country.

Paulson soon worked his way up to management and progressed through several positions including account manager of national account sales, sales specialist and national accounts group sales manager. In that period of time, he earned four “Account Manager of the Year” awards and steadily achieved goals while increasing revenue.

Paulson’s hard work and dedication landed him a position as director of sales, where he managed a team of 12 sales professionals and assisted in developing McGraw Hill’s line of products and services.
