Construction Starts Recover in August

Abstract:

Reed Construction Data (RCD) announced today that the year-to-date value of construction starts through August 2008, excluding residential contracts, totaled $194.4 billion, a 4.2% drop versus the same period last year, reports Reed Construction Data chief economist Jim Haughey.
