Reed Construction Data, a leading supplier of quality construction information products and services, announced today the release of their latest information solution for strategic and tactical planning, Reed Construction Forecast. This product is produced in partnership with Property and Portfolio Research (PPR), an independent provider of real estate research, portfolio strategy and risk management advisory services.
The Reed Construction Forecast product delivers the most timely construction industry activity statistics in a dynamic, quarterly format — combining historical data, current year projections and forward-looking forecasts. This database applies local market drivers to create a model-driven business planning and information tool covering 21 major project categories at the MSA level. In addition, forecast data can be aggregated at the county level to create custom territories. The database contains construction activity statistics recorded in both square footage and dollar value figures. Forecast reports will be published within 18 business days after the close of each quarter.
The development of Reed Construction Forecast is a natural extension of the product line already containing some of the industry’s most respected construction analytics and research solutions. Reed Construction Startsis currently available in two formats — year-to-date construction activity published monthly or historical activity in a searchable database. Reed Market Fundamentals offers a quarterly forecast report available at metropolitan market level.
