Online construction project lead service expands to offer statewide access

Reed Construction Data, a leading construction information provider, today announced new state-subscription options on the SmartProject News platform (www.smartprojectnews.com), giving construction professionals quick and easy access to commercial construction projects.

The SmartProject News website gives visitors the ability to register at no cost and immediately search summary-level data on thousands of construction projects by project name, type, stage, material, company or contact.

In response to market feedback, registrants can now subscribe to one year of unlimited access to project leads in one or more states.  This includes both general and civil construction projects.  Additionally, plans and specifications documents can be added to any subscription to further enhance the amount of detail available to the user.

“SmartProject News is a powerful web platform that provides the construction industry additional flexibility in accessing and managing information using the latest technology,” said Rich Remington, Vice President, Product Management and Development, Reed Construction Data.  “By adding state subscriptions, the platform provides another cost-effective way for contractors and other construction professionals to quickly find profitable leads in their markets.”

SmartProject News offers a range of search options including keyword search, drill-down search and map search.  In addition to projects, users can also search companies and contacts.

Additionally, project leads can be e-mailed to potential bidders or saved with quick access to later track, sort, refine and print.

These features will help construction professionals integrate additional new business development and management activities into their organization and focus on the growth of their business.
