Reed Construction Data today released version 3.5.4 of Reed Connect, a powerful web-solution that offers detailed information on thousands of commercial and civil construction projects nationwide.
With version 3.5.4, Connect users can now search and access information on over 18,000 proposed Federal Stimulus Projects to help create jobs and stimulate the economy. Reported projects were released as a part of the MainStreet Economic Recovery Plan in which The U.S. Conference of Mayors asked cities across the nation to report infrastructure projects that are “ready to go.”
This package of proposed projects represents Connect’s first-ever upload of unverified project leads. Typically all projects found in Connect go through a validation process by the Reed Construction Data Research Team. In an effort to expedite the delivery of potentially lucrative project leads to customers, Reed will post all projects and classify the unverified leads as “early-availability data” until they can be reviewed and confirmed.
Connect users will also notice enhancements to specification searching with the new release. New search engine technology provides the ability to search the full text of project specification documents stored on Connect by matching words, phrases or combinations of both. Plans and specs are available online at least 75 days after the bid date of the project.
