Unique Architect Partnership Program at www.accessarchitecture.com

The Washington, DC chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) (www.aiadc.com) today announced its participation in Reed Construction Data’s (www.reedconstructiondata.com) accessArchitecture initiative, a free program offering architects a suite of resources in exchange for project information.

AIA|DC joins a growing list of component partners in the accessArchitecture program, closely following the National Organization of the AIA’s announcement of Reed Construction Data as its inaugural strategic partner.

“A large portion of our business is based on or around architects and the design community,” said Steve Ritchie, Vice President of Marketing, Reed Construction Data.  “We are continuously working to enhance our accessArchitecture offerings and cultivate positive relationships with the AIA and its members.”

Since the program’s inception in 2007, Reed Construction Data has expanded accessArchitecture by adding a broad mix of free resources including a featured listing in Reed Design Registry, an online directory of architectural firms; local, regional and national project leads through Reed Connect; access to the RSMeans CustomCost Estimator and its comprehensive library; a DETAIL magazine subscription; a SmartBIM Library seat, credits for purchases at the online Architectural Press/Elsevier bookstore and even payment for every project shared.

“The accessArchitecture program is a leading initiative that truly focuses on the needs of our architects,” said Mary Fitch, executive director, AIA|DC.  “We’re excited to be a part of this powerful resource.”
