Water Piping, Electrical Work, Miscellaneous Civil The Work at the Grafton Water treatment Plant (GWTP) that will be completed under this Project generally includes the following Contract Work: Contract No.1 - General Construction: Includes the removal and replacement of the existing solids contact clarifier unit within a 44-foot x 44-foot pretreatment basin; increasing the depth of the treatment basin via wall extensions; modification of sludge pumping facilities; removal of an existing lime slaker, alum feeder, and soda ash feeder; installation of a new lime slaker, installation of new alum, soda ash, fluoride, and phosphate feeders; associated demolition and/or reconstruction; installation of four new doors and frames; chemical feed piping modifications; and water tower valve vault modifications. Contract No.2 - Electrical Construction: Includes all electrical Work associate with the removal and replacement of the existing pretreatment basin equipment; the removal and installation of the new lime, soda ash, alum, phosphate, and fluoride chemical feeders and associated equipment; radio telemetry improvements; controls and instrumentation wiring; and all miscellaneous electrical construction for the Project. Contract No.3 - Combined General and Electrical Construction: Includes all Work as described for Contract No.1 and Contract No.2.
