Water Piping, Sewage Piping SAN PABLO DAM SEISMIC UPGRADE 60 HYDRAULIC GATE VALVE INSTALLATION The scope of this project is to remove the existing 60-inch butterfly valve and hydraulic operating system; install a 60 inch gate valve and hydraulic operating system; and perform related required work located on District property at San Pablo Dam 8 miles northwest of the City of Orinda on San Pablo Dam Road, CA. The existing valve is located at the base of the Sobrante Tower, and the existing hydraulic power unit HPU is located at the Sobrante Tower platform. The new gate valve will be installed underwater at the drain pipe intake; the new hydraulic lines will span from the drain pipe intake to the Sobrante Tower platform; and the ne HPU will be installed at the Sobrante Tower platform.
