Project Description
Park Building The work of this contract includes removal and replacement of asphalt shingle roofs for three buildings as a base bid (buildings K, L, M on Drawings for a total approx. 167 squares) and options for up to 13 additional buildings (as identified in Solicitation Bid Schedule and Drawings ranging from 10 squares to 92 squares each for a total of approx 675 squares). The work will consist of: Removal and disposal of shingles, underlayment, flashing, drip edge and penetrations as indicated on the drawings. Patch roof deck at former penetrations. Install synthetic underlayment, Self-Adhering Modified Bitumen Underlayment, drip edge, ridge vent, and flash. Install 25 year asphalt shingles. Location is Acadia National Park Headquarters, Bar Harbor, Maine and Schoodic Education and Research Center, Winter Harbor, Maine.
