Project Description
Water Treatment,Sewage Treatment WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS. The project will be bid in two separate contracts. Contract #A consists of the construction of the following: Water distribution system improvements to include the replacement of approximately 8000 LF of existing water lines with new 6” and 2” PVC water lines, approximately 555 LF of 1” service line, and also includes: valves, fittings, steel conduit, reconnection to existing meters, and all other necessary appurtenances required to complete water distribution system improvements. Contract #B consists of the construction of the following: Water distribution system improvements to include the replacement of approximately 2100 LF of existing water lines with new 8”, 4” and 2” PVC water lines, approximately 150 LF of 1” and ¾” service line, and also includes: valves, fittings, steel conduit, flushing hydrants, 9 new water meter assemblies, and all other necessary appurtenances required to complete water distribution system improvements. This contract also includes a new 45 GPM booster pump station on Clay Lick Road and an 80 LF 8” directional bore under Hackers Creek.
