Project Description
Water Treatment The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Plant Division has a construction requirement for approximately 2,400 gsf, high-bay building extension to Building 302, to include site work, foundations, building and shell and associated utilities. Concurrent installation of a new 3,500T chiller and associated pumps, piping, valves and filtration for the expanded chilled water generation capacity, and fully integrated into an existing 24/7 operating central plant delivering chilled water service to the NIST campus. The chiller equipment and it’s associated transformer gear are government furnished contractor installed(GFCI) External site construction and installation of the 3,500T cooling towers, basin with pumps, electric service building and transformer yard, and underground utility systems to support new chiller systems.
