Medium Security Facility Activity,Administrative,Cells,Communications,Computer,Dining,Equipment Storage,Fitness,Food Preparation,Food Storage,Infirmary,Inmate Intake/Outtake Area,Jail,Living Quarters,Maintenance,Mechanical Room,Office[s],Processing,Records Storage,Restroom,Security,Shipping/Receiving,Shower,Sleep,Storage,Vehicle Parking,Visiting Area,Waiting Concrete Foundation,Structural Steel Frame,Concrete Block Exterior The Scope Of Work For The New Building Will Include Constructing New Parking Lot Areas, Relocating Existing Driveways, And Relocation And Extension Of All Utilities Services At New Building. Existing Jail Will Receive New Fire Protection Piping And Some Renovation And New Tunnel Entrance Area. Project Is Located In Downtown Greensboro Just West Of Existing County Jail. Approximate Project Budget Is $85,000,000 For Construction Costs.
